Fortunately there remains an ability to obtain driving privileges with Ignition Interlock. Since July, 2020 Kentucky has allowed DUI suspended drivers to obtain a license provided that you have an Ignition Interlock system installed in your vehicle.

You will need the following:
- Ignition Interlock application
- Proof of Insurance
- Proof of Registration *note: if the vehicle is registered to another person, you will also need an affidavit from the title owner for approval.
Once all information is presented, it gets faxed/emailed to DOT for approval. The application can only be submitted after the suspension is in place. Sometimes it takes the County Clerk a day or 3 to enter the suspension into the system.
