NKy Charges While Traveling

Having an online presence offers the ability to represent many people who are traveling through Northern Kentucky or visiting relatives over holidays.  If you have been charged with a crime, cited for a violation or have traffic ticket in N.Ky. and do not want to return to court to handle, you can hire an attorney to handle your affairs while you return to home, school or campus.

Many cases can be handled without the necessity of the Defendant returning to court, despite what is stated in the Court papers. If it is an inconvenience to return to court, you will likely need to hire an attorney to appear on your behalf.

An experienced attorney knows the courts and can advise what types of cases will require an appearance and when the appearance can be waived.  For example, if you have been charged with a felony or other serious crime, failure to appear will likely result in a warrant being issued with a substantial bond.  For DUI, public intoxication, most misdemeanors and minor drug offenses, an attorney can appear in your place.  Note: if you do not appear or hire an attorney, a warrant will be issued for your arrest.  Make sure that after you speak with an attorney, that you actually hire them (PAY THEM TO APPEAR).

The attorney may be able to handle the entire case without an appearance, or at least minimize the number of times necessary to appear should  you wish to challenge the charges.

If you have charged in Boone, Campbell, Gallatin or Kenton Counties in Northern Kentucky, contact Bouldin Law Firm at the Bouldin Law Firm by calling 859-581-6453 or email [email protected].
